Opinions everywhere!

So my first idea at a promotion was a complete bust, even though it is technically still going. I'm not upset about this, as on hind sight, it wasn't the best offer anyone had ever seen. But there was definately something that wigged me out!

When I posted the details regarding my promotion, I got two replies. Both of those were "it'll be ok, don't be frustrated or feel sad" type posts. Even thought I responded to the first poster, assuring her that I did not feel bad, sad, mad, frustrated, or any other negative emotion, someone else came along and tried to make me feel better!

Maybe people don't understand my self-deprecating style of humor. I have no problem making fun of myself. And it's not because I feel bad about myself, it's because I am confident enough to be able to say these things without feeling bad!

I needed to get that out!

So I have learned through days of watching the forums that the way to get alot of attention is to give away free stuff. So that's what I think I'm going to do.

My idea is simple. After I get all my items posted, I will start a promotion for my new items. All of the newly posted items, the one that weren't posted before I mean, will be listed with the opportunity to get 2.00 off. The originals say 5 days from posting, but that isn't working, so I will be changing it. Anyway, the 2.00 is not too bad. But then I figure either a thread killer (but one that you can win on, meaning last post in a 5-6 hour period) or a magic number. I'm leaning towards magic number. I will post the super magic number here, meaning people will look at my blog. Also, I think maybe 5 runners up, who will get 50% off in my store on any new item, and that will be in addition to my 2 dollar off celebration promo. So here's how it would equal out....

We will use a 20 dollar item as my example.

So a winner will get the item t 50% off, so that means they would get the item for 10.00...but wait, there's more!

If they make their purchase in time, they would get another $2 dollars off, so the $20.00 item would be $8.00!!!!!!!

I think that's pretty super!

For anyone that might think I am sad, or mad, or whatever....I'm way to perky and happy a person to be upet. I have people who heart me, so that makes me happy, and I genuinly love making this stuff! I have custom orders from my friends pretty frequently, so I have quite a bit of pride in my stuff!
